THE BARN
A large self-contained space which has just had a total renovation, with Oak flooring, a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom with a huge walk-in power shower and a lovely Victorian bath. Featuring a Superking luxury bed plus a Natuzzi sofa bed sleeping two adults and two children within the open-plan lounge/bedroom. Front & rear entrances, with private parking and use of a patio/BBQ area leading into the garden.
THE LAVENDER ROOM
Our most popular en-suite double, at ground level, very quiet and comfortable, with ample seating, desk and tea/coffee making facilities. Firm mattress, quality Egyptian cotton linen and nice tasteful furnishings. Real Oak flooring in bathroom.
THE APPLE WAGON
Built about five years ago out of larch and redwood on a 1920’s bogey front hay wagon, with original 1920 Ford lorry axles. It is 12 foot long and 6 feet wide. Use of space has been optimised to make the small kitchenette, equipped with sink and dual gas cooker, plus storage cupboard underneath all tight and workable. Very comfy memory foam mattress. Situated in our lovely garden, the Apple Wagon enjoys a lot of privacy and has it’s own decking area which is a real sun-trap. There is a little bench and several other chairs inside the wagon. If you are over 6 feet tall, you may struggle to fit in the bed! There is a Swedish composting toilet outside the Wagon and also a main bathroom with shower and flushing toilet in the main farmhouse (sometimes, but rarely shared with one other person).
